Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of BeerTender from Heineken and Krups B95 Home Beer-Tap System

Customer Review: Fun device
Summary: 4 Stars

Do you need this Beertender? No. However, it is fun to have around and a great "party trick." I frost glasses in the freezer and combined with the lowest temperature setting on the Beertender provides a relatives foam-free pour. More selection would be nice, but I do like Heineken (obviously) so I'm pleased enough.

Customer Review: Great product, great price!
Summary: 5 Stars

This is my second, great system and now only [...] bucks. If you are into your Heineken and enjoy the keg taste nothing beats it. Some have issues with foaming, make sure its down to the right temp and you will not have problems. You may get a little larger head on the frist pour but after that....your doing it wrong! I only have 2 as I have my own home bar and when we party, we party hard :-) and I dont like running out!

Customer Review: Love Beer
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this because I love draft beer. It has been great and has worked like a dream. The only problem I've had is keeping it full.
It tracks the days since opening the Keg, level and temperature. I keep it at 36 Deg's.

I would recommend this any beer lovers. I've had people tell me that they had trouble finding the taps. Bed Bath and Beyond stocks the taps and if you have questions e-mail Heineken and they respond very fast.

Great little Machine!!

Customer Review: beertender
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased a BeerTender from Heineken and Krups Model B95 Home Beer-Tap System a few months ago and I am very pleased to have one in my home.
I just bought my second BeerTender from you in July and had it shipped to my son Michael Stenson who resideds in Niceville, Fl. The cost of the unit was $199.95.
You can imagine my shock when I saw the exact same model advertised on QVC a couple of weeks ago. I purchased 2 for my other 2 sons and including the purchase price of the unit, sales tax and shipping, I paid $104.57 for each one. What the heck? Can you explain this? Will you be reimburing me the difference?
I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
Gerald M. Stenson

Customer Review: Hassle-free mini kegerator
Summary: 5 Stars

Prior to this I did own a full-sized kegerator and while the selection of kegs is infinite, so are the problems inherent with maintaining it. I could never get the right mix of pressure, not to mention the maintenance of the beer lines. In frustration, I sold my unit and decided it was canned or bottled beer for me. Then came the Krugs/Heineken Beertender B95. I am truly enjoying this unit as it is maintenance free and yields superior-tasting beer. I must admit I am impatiently waiting for Newcastle to be available in mini-keg form in my area. It is my understanding that it will be very soon. I have no problem dispensing my beer, so long as I tilt my glass at the proper angle. I give it 5 stars.
