Works well, but as other reviewers have said the plastic covering on the front panel cracks and the LED fogs up with moisture at times. Too bad since it is a good little machine which toasts, broils and bakes well. The digital display is easy to read and the clock is a nice extra. I like the feature of a ring when the toaster arrives at the bake temperature selected. Sorry it has been discontinued since a little improvement on the platic convering would have made it a perfect toaster.

This Convection Digital Toaster oven uses convection heating, a method preferred by bakers, which circulates the heat around food to produce more even cooking and browning in a shorter time period and more delicious results. The Krups FBC21145 is a wonderful countertop appliance for cooking meals for two and, once you begin using it, you may never need to turn on your conventional oven again.The Convection Digital oven is a wonderful countertop appliance for cooking meals for two and, once you begin using it, you may never need to turn on your conventional oven again. This toaster oven uses convection heating, a method preferred by bakers, which circulates the heat around food to produce more even cooking and browning in a shorter time period and more delicious results. This oven, of course, has a toasting function for bread and bagels with an electronic touchpad to set the level of browning to either light, medium, or dark. However, it also has the capacity to cook just about any oven-prepared meal you can think of. The Convection Digital bakes at temperature settings between 100 and 475 degrees F and temperatures and cook times are easy to program from the appliance?s electronic control panel. The oven can accommodate a pair of stuffed chicken breasts, two lamb chops, or a small loaf pan of raisin bread and even has a broil setting (500 degrees F) for melting cheese on miniature pizzas or open-faced sandwiches and for searing juicy sausages or hamburgers. The broil setting heats up in just 5 minutes so you can switch it on if you?d simply like to heat the oven up quickly. For safety, the oven automatically shuts off when the electronic timer reaches its set cooking time and the LED returns to displaying the current time. The Convection Digital has a nonstick interior for quick cleaning and comes with an additional baking/broiling tray.
