The Krups XP 2070 has been in use at my household for about a month now, with no problems to speak of. We use the espresso machine with cappucino attachment almost daily, and each time it has been very good. A notice I would give to the espresso enthusiast looking to buy would be the need for a different tamper than the one provided. The provided tamper is plastic, and can be wobbly, but I am very satisfied with the product.

New from Krups, the XP2070 Programmable Combi Machine is a dual function espresso and drip coffee maker. The combination unit has a 10 cup coffee maker,15 bar pump espresso maker with a thermoblock heating element to ensure consistent water temperature every time. The 32oz removable water tank is large enough to brew 25 shots of espresso and the heavyweight die cast filter holder has 3 interchangeable sieves for 1 or 2 servings of ground espresso as well as ESE pre-portioned pods. Beautiful brushed stainless steel finish matches any kitchen decor. This dual function espresso/drip coffee machine has oversized controls that switch easily from brewing espresso to frothing milk. It features a 15 bar pump driven system with a die-cast thermoblock-heating element. The filter basket is conveniently stored in the lid and has a perfect froth steam nozzle. Programmable for size and strength of espresso as well as wake up coffee.
